Your manual shows what type of RAM you may have, and what is compatible. When I shopped the Gen-5 and XPS 600 when both were being sold new, the each had the same two RAM options (533mhz and 677mhz DDR2 SDRAM). My guess would be yes, but verify with your manual.

If you use compatible types but mix speeds, I believe all installed RAM will operate at the slowest speed.
